On June 12, 2019, SpaceX successfully launched the Canadian RADARSAT satellites into orbit with the Falcon 9. Mission milestones that date back to December 2004 have been in play by Canadian Space Agency (CSA).

The newer satellites will replace the RADARSAT-2 which reached its end of life back in 2014. The RADARSAT satellites will be positioned at 370 miles above the earth providing imaging to support a host of initiatives including climate change.
